The Lewis-Clark State College volleyball team is having its annual Alumni Match at 3 p.m. Saturday at the LC Activity Center.
Â
Head coach
LaToya Harris-Alexander and her 2017 Warriors will take on players from past seasons in their first non-intrasquad scrimmage of the fall. After a week of conditioning and drills, the match should be a welcome change for the Warriors – even with two-time NAIA All-American
Kennadie Clute on the other side of the net.
Â
2016 alum Stephanie Orvitz also returns as does honorable mention All-American Treneisha Doyle from the 2015 squad. Also in the lineup for the alumni team are Marlee Zeman, Nevena Dragovic, Willow Markowitz, Russia Robinson, Jalisa Jose, Regine Standley and
Amber Hillestad.
Â
The event is free and open to the public.
Â
The Warriors next play Saturday, Aug. 12, in a 6 p.m. exhibition match against Spokane Falls Community College, also at the Activity Center. They take to the road for two tournaments (Fullerton, Calif., and Butte, Mont.) and matches at Master's University and Azuza Pacific before turning home Sept. 8-9 for non-conference competitions against Walla Walla University and Whitman University.
