BILLINGS, Mont. - The No. 23 Lewis-Clark State women's basketball team is not done yet. After taking down No. 9 William Penn in the opening round of the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Championship, the Warriors earned a victory over LSU Alexandria to secure their place in the quarterfinal.
The Warriors will face No. 1 Freed Hardeman on Saturday at 1 p.m. PDT. Zany's will host a watch party and KOZE will carry the radio broadcast of the game.

No. 23 The Warriors – 22-11
After heading into halftime trailing by six, the Warriors use a huge third quarter to earn the comeback win over LSUA. They outscored the Generals 24-15 in the third.
Jossilyn Blackman notched a double-double to lead the Warriors with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Abbie Johnson had 12 points while
Hailey Turner and
Hannah Burland each added 10.
No. 1 Freed-Hardeman Lions – 33-2
The Warriors will take on the top team in the nation in the Freed-Hardeman Lions. The Lions defeated Dillard and Lindsey Wilson to earn their spot in the Elite Eight.
Haylee Croom is averaging a double-double this season with 18.12 points per game and 11.62 rebounds per game. She is in the nation's top-five in rebounds per game, total rebounds (395) and field goal percentage (.573).
As a team, the Lions rank first in NAIA DI in scoring margin (28.29) and scoring defense per game (49.94).

The winner of the matchup will move on to face the winner of the contest between No. 4 Montana Western and No. 5 The Master's on Monday at 5 p.m.
Warrior Athletics and Happy Day will host a Warrior Watch Party at Zany's in the ZPUB Loft on Saturday starting at 12:30 p.m.
