FULL RESULTS
MCMINNVILLE, Ore. – Just one day after the women's 4x400m relay earned their A qualifying time, the Lewis-Clark State women's 4x800m relay team did the same to secure spots for both quartets at the 2019 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. The Warriors wrapped up the regular season at the Linfield Open and now turn their attention to Nationals beginning May 23.

The Women
For the second-straight day, the Warrior women secured a spot at the National Championships with an A qualifying time in a relay. The 4x800m team of
Callie Johnson,
Maja Plaznik,
Dallas Borrego and
Rylee Brown finished with a time of 9:22.46.

Madi Carson finished the day second in the pole vault and improved on her national-qualifying mark. The sophomore passed her previous program record with a height of 3.75m/12'3.5".

In the 3000m steeplechase,
Molly Stephenson finished in the top five with a time of 12:49.83.
McKinley Litton was fifth in the 400m (59.85) and
Jenny Sapp was fourth in the 800m (2:16.97).

The Men
Sakti Woodbury narrowly missed a national qualifying time in his win in the 3000m steeplechase. The freshman continued to grow stronger in the event with a time of 9:39.64.

"I think we found his new event," coach
Mike Collins said. "I am excited for next year and I'm sure he will be motivated."

Alixander Morse ran a strong 110m hurdles and finished fifth with a time of 15.56. He finished second in the 400m hurdles (57.41), followed closely by
Bryan Carter in third (58.71).

With the 2019 regular season coming to a close, the Warriors now focus on Nationals in Gulf Shores, Ala. beginning May 23.
