LEWISTON, Idaho – LC State Track and Field will be hosting camps this winter to offer athletes the chance to learn basic drills and skills as they pertain to specific track and field events. The camps will be held on Jan. 30 and Feb, 20 at Lewiston High School's Sweeney Track at Vollmer Bowl.
 
Campers will have the opportunity to learn from college coaches and will be taught important progressions that will help develop skills in chosen events. The Jan. 30 camp will focus on sprinting mechanics, triple jump, high jump and shot put. The Feb. 20 camp will focus on hurdles, long jump, pole vault and discus.
 
The camps will take place from 1-3 p.m. at a cost of $20 if preregistered. Registration at the track will cost $25. The link to register can be found HERE.
