LEWISTON, Idaho – Transfer
Jada Wyms made an immediate impact on the LC State Volleyball team this past season and made a name for herself in the Cascade Conference. The junior was rewarded with a First-Team All-Northwest Region nod, announced by the AVCA on Thursday. The Northwest Region is made up of teams from the Cascade and Frontier Conferences.
"All-Region is a tough list to make," Head Coach
Shaun Pohlman said. "There are so many amazing athletes between these two incredibly tough conferences. I am happy for Jada and for our team for the hard work and grit it took to get through a tough season and some well-deserved recognition at the end."
Wyms was also voted First-Team All-Cascade Conference. She was the LC State leader in attack percentage (.332), the second-highest in the CCC. The West Haven, Utah native finished the season third on the team in kills (114), kills per set (3.17), and in points (148.0). Wyms led the Warriors at the net with 49 blocks including five solo blocks. She appeared in all 14 matches.
