LEWISTON, Idaho – Another trio of student-athletes chose to continue their athletic and academic careers with LC State Track and Field, announced by the team on Thursday. Kameron Greenhalgh (St. John Endicott High School), Jaxson Blaker (Moscow High School) and Armani Reyes (Pasco High School) will begin their time as Warriors in the fall.

Greenhalgh will add depth to the throwing events for the Warrior men. He helped St. John Endicott High School to a district championship in 2021 and a State title in 2019. Greenhalgh also played football and was an all-league selection.

"We are very excited about Kameron," Hall said. "He is a very raw prospect coming from a small school in Washington, but he has all the tools to become a very good thrower over the next few years. He is exactly what you are looking for when you picture a thrower: big, strong, and fun. I know coach Jacob Whittaker is looking forward to developing Kameron's talents. He is equally talented in the shot put and discus and will likely become a good hammer thrower before his career is over."

Moscow's Blaker finished third in the 400m at the district meet this past season. He led Moscow High School in the 400m with a personal-best time of 53.82 and also competed in cross country, football and basketball.

"Jaxson just started running the 400m this year and has been mainly a mid-distance guy throughout high school," assistant coach Cyrus Hall said. "We think he is a guy that could focus on the long sprints and really add some depth to our men's team in an area that was kind of barren this past season. I'm looking forward to seeing Jaxson develop over the next few years."

Pasco High School graduate Reyes led District 8 and was eighth in the state in the javelin throw this season. He earned all-league honorable mention honors as a senior and also played football.

"Armani is a javelin thrower," Hall explained. "He's a good athlete, and actually played quarterback on the football team. He threw the javelin 170'7" this spring. That's impressive because Washington did not have a full track season this year, so who knows how far he would have thrown with a full season. With his current marks, he could step in and help us score points at the Cascade meet and he's only about 10 feet from an NAIA national-qualifying standard. We got ourselves a pretty talented young athlete. Coach Whittaker is really building that javelin group up and I'm excited to see Armani added to it."
