MEN'S RATINGS | WOMEN'S RATINGS
NEW ORLEANS – The LC State Track and Field teams maintained their spots in the USTFCCCA Top 15, with the men checking in at No. 9 and the women at No. 14.
For the ninth-rated men,
Connor Turpin brings in the most points with 33.07 for his top-ranked time in the half marathon.
Clayton VanDyke added 23.76 points at the Whitworth Peace meet in the 1,500m. He holds the fifth-best time in the NAIA at 3:52.16.
Cole Olsen also contributed with his performance last weekend, scoring 13.18 points in the 10,000m. The Warriors have 180.26 points, second in the Cascade behind top-rated British Columbia.
The LC State women are rated No. 14, just ahead of College of Idaho. The Warriors are the third-highest rated team in the Cascade with UBC at No. 1 and Southern Oregon at No. 5. LC has a total of 146.40 points, led by 29.34 from
Jennah Carpenter's high jump. The freshman is currently ranked third in the NAIA at 1.67m. The most recent point-earning performance was
Emily Adams' 10,000m that brought in 1.08 points.
The Warriors compete on Thursday at the Whitworth Twilight in Spokane.
