Men's Track and Field | 07.27.2026
NEW ORLEANS – Warrior Track and Field student-athletes continued to excel both in competition and in the classroom in the 2025-26 school year, evident by another round of academic praise from the USTFCCCA (United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association). Both Lewis-Clark State programs garnered recognition as All-Academic Teams, while six men and five women earned individual honors as All-Academic Athletes.
"We are always striving to perform at the highest level," coach
Mike Collins said. "The USTFCCCA is the premiere track and cross country coaching body in the country and to have them recognize these young people for their academics is just outstanding. For both teams to be ranked so high is exceptional and I am especially proud of the men to be ranked as one of the top five teams in the nation."
The Warrior men finished the 2025-26 school year with a team cumulative grade point average of 3.49, which tied for fifth-best in the NAIA, while the women reached a mark of 3.64 which tied for 14
th. To be named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's eligibility certificate for indoor and/or outdoor track and field must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
To earn the individual honor, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale through the end of the semester of competition and have achieved an automatic or provisional qualifying mark (individual or relay event) for either the indoor season or outdoor season.
