KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Freshman Kristof Panke will represent Lewis-Clark State Men's Golf as an individual at the 2022 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships in Silvis, Ill., May 17-20.
 
The Warriors just missed the cut as a team due to multiple upsets at conference tournaments across the nation taking up automatic spots. LC finished the season ranked No. 13 with the sixth-best scoring average in the NAIA.
 
Panke, recently voted the LC State Freshman of the Year by his peers, is ranked No. 41 in Golfstat with a 73.17 scoring average. He led the Warriors in conference play with 801 strokes during 11 rounds for a 72.8 average. The Davenport, Wash., native was one of four LC players to earn All-Cascade Conference honors.
 
Panke, aided by Cascade Conference Coach of the Year Brady Campbell, will open the tournament at TPC Deere Run on May 17 paired with golfers from Victoria (B.C.) and Williams Baptist (Ark.) at 11:40 a.m. PT.
