RESULTS
LEWISTON, Idaho – A group of Warriors were in action on Saturday at the NNU Invitational. The day saw a pair of personal-bests and a national standard by Kea Stieglitz in the javelin.
THE MEN
Senior Brycen Brown ran a personal-best time of 1:59.27 to place seventh in the 800m. Cooper Carlson finished 10th (2:06.32). Carlson led a group of Warriors in the 1,500m with a time of 4:14.53 to place fifth. Keith Uitdewiligen placed eighth (4:19.10), Jacob Adams was 11th (4:26.19) and Luke Sellmann finished 12th (4:42.16).
Tanner Beltz-Childs hit a PR mark in the hammer throw for the second time this week with a distance of 40.82m. He finished 11th in the event and Sam Weller was 15th (37.07m). Weller was also in action in the shot put where he placed 12th (11.97m).
Tanner Sibert finished 27th in the 100m dash with a time of 12.16.
THE WOMEN
Stieglitz hit the B standard in the javelin with a distance of 39.63m. She placed fourth in the event.
Anika Grogan won the 200m race with a time of 26.20 and placed third in the 100m dash (12.74). Macey Gunderson was eighth in the 200m (28.15) and 11th in the 400m (1:03.94).
