RESULTS
POCATELLO, Idaho – LC State's 400m duo of London Kirk and Emily Collins had successful days to highlight the final day of the regular season for Warrior Track and Field at the Bengal Invitational on Saturday.

"Another relatively good outing, and a good chance to perform against the competition," coach Mike Collins said. "Good to see London hit the national standard. Emily ran a great race and was just shy hitting the national standard herself. One more chance next weekend. Our travel next week will be almost just like this, so we have a chance to go through the routine, hopefully be familiar with it and come out and perform at our best."

Senior Kirk earned his spot at outdoor nationals with a provisional standard in the 400m. The Deary, Idaho native won the event with a time of 47.54 which is tied for the best in the Cascade Conference this season.

Emily Collins also found success in the 400m with the second-best time in LC State history. Her time of 56.69 ranks second in the CCC this season and earned the junior a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Division I meet.

Jr Mendoza hit a PR in the discus to place 15th in the field (34.93m) and was 16th in the shot put (12.87m). Haylee Appleford led the women in the discus in 13th place (39.44m) and Hope Zollman was 16th (34.97). Appleford also led LC in the shot put where she finished 11th (12.20m) with Zollman in 13th (11.15m) and Faith Wersland in 16th (9.73m).

Freshman Cameron Carrara finished second in the 110m hurdle final with a time of 16.91. Fellow first year Max Funk was 13th in the high jump (1.69m).

Grace Tiegs was third in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 12:15.32. Grace McCormick was 16th in the 800m (2:33.78) and Tristin O'Brien finished 15th in the men's 800m with a time of 2:01.33.

Junior Connor Alexander led the LC State men in the 5,000m where has placed sixth (16:43.81). Jacob Adams was 10th (17:18.07) and Clay Shumaker was 11th (17:31.86).
