Wilson and Hymas Celebrate Senior Day with Career Highs

LEWISTON, Idaho – No. 12 LC State Women's Basketball closed out the regular season with an emphatic 84-54 victory over Bushnell (Ore.) on Saturday. The Warriors celebrated their five seniors prior to the contest, and Lindsey Wilson and Payton Hymas celebrated the night with career-highs in scoring.

LC State honored Wilson, Camden Barger, Sitara Byrd, Ella Nelson and Hymas before the game. The class has been one of the most impactful to ever come through the program.

"A great win for our seniors tonight," coach Caelyn Orlandi said. "Those five seniors have made such a tremendous impact on Warrior Women's Basketball. Their leadership, hard work and dedication have been so wonderful. Coaching those five for four years has been an absolute blessing and they have made an everlasting impact on this program that goes far beyond wins and losses. They have worn their Warrior jerseys perfectly and I am so proud of them."

Hymas led the game with 22 points and Wilson added 18 with a 7-for-7 performance from the field. The Warriors grabbed 42 rebounds and had 15 steals.
