RESULTS
ASHLAND, Ore. – Cameron Carrara had a day of personal bests to start the 2026 Cascade Conference Multi Championships, presented by U.S. Bank. The sophomore recorded career-best marks in four of his five events and sits in sixth place ahead of the final five disciplines.

Kurtis Bonner said. "After spending most of the indoor season fighting off injuries, he responded well in his return to the decathlon. He is feeling very confident as he moves to day two and is poised to make a charge for all-conference honors."
Carrara finished fifth in both the long jump (6.27m) and the high jump (1.82m) for his best marks of the day. He placed sixth in the shot put (10.41m) and 10
th in the 100m dash (11.64), all four being personal bests.
Carrara was ninth in the 400m with a time of 53.49, which was just off his PR.
With five events left in the 10-event decathlon, Carrara is in sixth place with 3184 points.
UP NEXT
Carrara will compete in the 110m hurdles, discus, pole vault, javelin throw and 1500m on Friday to conclude the CCC multi.
