KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LC State Volleyball moved up one spot in the national rankings to No. 11 after a 3-1 start to Cascade Conference play. The mark matches the highest ranking the Warriors earned last season.
 
The Warriors enter the first Cascade Conference home weekend with a 9-1 overall record and a 3-1 mark in CCC action. The only loss this season came on the road against No. 17 Southern Oregon in five sets.
 
LC State is second in the NAIA in kills per set (13.76) and assists per set (12.92) and is second in the conference in points per set (17.7) and digs per set (15.11). Mikale Roy is third in the CCC in kills per set (3.48) and Taylor Boyce is fifth (3.28). Both are tied for fourth in points per set (3.5). Ella Stosich ranks fourth in digs per set (3.91).
 
Around the CCC, Eastern Oregon remained No. 1 and College of Idaho climbed to No. 4. Corban (Ore.) fell two spots to No. 6 and LC State is just outside the top 10 at No. 11. Southern Oregon moved up one spot to No. 17 and Bushnell (Ore.) is receiving votes.
