LEWISTON, Idaho – LC State Volleyball will turn pink into a lasting legacy throughout the month of October with its Pink Jersey Auction, giving Warrior fans the opportunity to bid on authentic pink Nike jerseys worn by their favorite LC State Volleyball student-athletes.
The online auction will run Oct. 1-31 with proceeds benefiting the Judy Fong Memorial Endowment, a fund established to honor the legacy of longtime educator, coach and friend Judy Fong while providing continued support for Warrior Volleyball student-athletes.
The Judy Fong Memorial Endowment is one of LC State Athletics' established endowed funds designated specifically for volleyball. Endowed funds are held in perpetuity and invested to allow the fund to provide ongoing financial support for future generations of Warriors.
For LC State Volleyball, the endowment represents more than financial support. It provides an opportunity to ensure Fong's impact continues to be felt in the gym and within a program and community she cared deeply about.
"Judy's impact on the LC Valley is something we want our current student-athletes to know and future Warriors to continue to learn about," Head Coach Katie Palmer said.
"There is something really special about knowing that every time we grow this endowment, we are creating opportunities for our student-athletes while keeping Judy's name and legacy connected to our gym."
Throughout October, fans can bid individually on the authentic pink jersey of their favorite Warrior. The jerseys will be worn as part of LC State Volleyball's annual effort to bring light to the fight against breast cancer, including Pink Night on Oct. 9 inside the P1FCU Activity Center.
At the conclusion of the auction, winning bidders will have the option to have their jersey mailed or pick it up at the Warriors' home match on Friday, Nov. 6.

Fans will have another way to support the Judy Fong Memorial Endowment throughout the month of October with the sale of an exclusive pink Warrior Volleyball shirt. The limited-edition shirts will be available for purchase at the LC State Athletic Department apparel shop during all October home matches, with proceeds benefiting the Judy Fong Memorial Endowment.
"Both opportunities provide an opportunity for our fans to receive a unique item, but the greater purpose is what makes it meaningful," Palmer said.
