LEWISTON, Idaho. – For the second-straight day, the LCSC women's tennis team faced a NCAA Div. I opponent. And for the second-straight match, the Warriors were unable to break through and steal a point as LC fell to the University of Montana 7-0 Saturday.
 
With the loss, the Warriors fall to 0-2. The Grizzlies found their first win of the season and now are an even 1-1.
 
Andres Begona was the only one to steal a point away in singles play. She won the first set 7-5 before falling in the next two. In No. 3 Doubles, Begona and Laura Rosselli forced a tiebreak but fell 7-6 (7-4).
 
The schedule for the Warriors remains tough as they travel to NCAA Div. I foe and instate rival Idaho State University on Jan. 27 starting at 9:30 a.m.
