GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The LCSC women's tennis did it again.
The Warriors upset No. 14 Davenport for their second-straight win over a NAIA Top 25 team on Wednesday, defeating the Panthers 5-4.
LCSC defeated No. 17 Olivet Nazarene on Tuesday by the same score.
With the win, the Warriors improve to 5-11 on the season. Davenport falls to 5-5.
There were a total of three 3-set competitions in singles play.
Lauren Lang in No. 1 Singles was the only win to drop her 3-set contest. Lang won the first set 7-6 before dropping the next two 6-2, 6-2.
Hannah Uhlenkott won at No. 2 Singles 6-1, 4-6, 6-2.
Begona Andres won hers at No. 5 Singles with a 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 victory.
Buckingham and Uhlenkott won at No. 2 Doubles and were the only two of the group to win in doubles play with an 8-5 advantage.
The Warriors continue on their Spring Break trip with a match against Aquinas College tomorrow at 11:30 a.m.
