Kai Fong said he is seeing improvement in the Warriors.
"We faced a tough Montana State team today," he said. "They played solid all throughout. Our players made strides even though the scores may not reflect the improvements. Our players are understanding their roles better."
Laura Rosselli lost 6-2, 6-1 at No 1 singles before
Begona Andres battled to a tiebreak in the first set at No. 2 singles before falling 7-5, 6-2.
Laura Diaz lost 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 singles with
Jen Roux falling 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4.
Alexandra Barry dropped the No. 5 singles 6-1, 6-1 and
Sophie Uhlenkott lost 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
Andres and Diaz took three points off Laura Mary and Linnea Fristam before losing 6-3 at No. 1 doubles. Uhlenkott and Rosselli at No. 2 doubles and Roux and Barry at No. 3 both lost 6-2, 6-2.
