BOISE, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State Women's Tennis took down College of Idaho 7-0 to wrap up its second day in Boise. The Warriors took two out of three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches.
The No. 1 doubles team of
Laura Diaz and
Begona Andres defeated their opponent 6-3. They were followed by the No. 2 team of
Sophie Uhlenkott and
Laura Rosselli with a 6-2 win.
Kyla Collier and
Alexis Maison also had a strong showing with a 6-3 win in No. 3 doubles.
For singles play, Uhlenkott and Rosselli had the two strongest matches, dropping just three games each, both finishing at 6-1, 6-2. Both of Andres sets went into a tie breaker and she took the win in each (7-6, 7-6). Diaz picked up a victory in No. 2 singles (6-4, 6-7, 10-4). Maison and Collier also had strong showings in singles play. Maison earned a win in No. 4 singles with a score of 6-3, 7-6 and Collier won by a score of 6-2, 6-3.
