WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The Warrior Women's Tennis team traveled to Walla Walla on Saturday and faced NCAA DIII Linfield College in its first match of the weekend.

"We faced a very consistent Linfield team today," coach Kai Fong said. "This was definitely a needed matchup to prep us for the grind that our players need for upcoming matches on the road where everything will present a challenge."
Begona Andres and Laura Diaz won three games in the No. 1 singles match before falling 8-3.

Andres put up a fight in the top singles spot, taking her first set by a score of 6-0 before falling 0-6, 6-1, 6-2. Diaz picked up seven games in her 7-5, 6-2 loss in No. 2 doubles.
