WHITEFISH, Montana – A career-high 21 points in Thursday's upset victory over No. 18 MSU-Northern, along with 18 more in the win over Providence, secured Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for junior Jansen Edmiston. The Hermiston, Ore. native helped the No. 21 Warriors to a pair of big victories over the weekend, increasing the winning streak to six games.
In game one of the weekend, Edmiston fueled a Warrior comeback with her career-high point total. 20 of the 21 points were scored in the second half to push LC State past the Skylights 67-60. She added 18 points and six rebounds to her weekend on Saturday.
The Warriors return home on Friday to host No. 17 Carroll at 5:30 p.m. in the Activity Center.
