WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TOP 25 POLL
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the final NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches Top 25 Poll of the season, the Warrior women broke into the top 20 at No. 19. LC State has won 14 straight and wrapped up the regular season as the Cascade Conference Champions. The Warriors have more hardware in mind with a trip to the CCC semifinal on Friday.
LC State currently leads the CCC in scoring (74.0), scoring margin (+15.7), field goal percentage defense (.336), 3-point percentage defense (.272), blocked shots per game (4.1), assist/turnover ratio (1.3) and 3-pointers made per game (7.7).
The Warriors have the conference's top scorer in
Callie Stevens (19.0) and top rebounder in
Maddie Holm (10.4). Stevens also leads the Cascade in 3-pointers per game (3.0), and
Sara Muehlhausen leads with 2.2 blocked shots per game.
LC State hosts fourth-seeded Bushnell University on Friday in the semifinal of the Cascade Conference Championship, presented by U.S. Bank. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in the P1FCU Activity Center.
