ALEXANDRIA, La. – The LC State Women's Tennis team opened its Louisiana trip with a contest against No. 5 LSU Alexandria (La.). The Warriors fell 7-0 to one of the nation's top teams.
 
Catherine Khardina and Andrea Cervantes Bustamante found the most success in doubles, picking up two games in the No. 2 position. Elisiva Latu won three games in the third singles slot, while Lina Boylan (No. 1 singles), Khardina (No. 2 singles) and Kyla Collier (No. 4 singles) each picked up two games.
 
The Warriors continue the trip on Friday with contests against No. 11 Xavier (La.) and LSU Shreveport (La.)
