GREENTOWN, Ind. – Warrior Tennis opened its second weekend in Indiana at the Doc Richards Tournament with a pair of matches played late into the night on Thursday. The LC State Women earned a 4-2 victory over Judson (Ill.), while the men fell 4-1 to Huntington (Ind.).
 
After dropping the doubles point, the Warrior women bounced back with four singles wins to take the match. Lina Boylan and Andrea Cervantes Bustamante won at No. 2 doubles, and Boylan went on to take the No. 1 singles match without dropping a game. Beatriz Lambru and Maria Eduardo Santos da Silva each took down their opponents in three sets, and Elisiva Latu picked up a win in straight sets in the fourth spot.
 
The LC men only played singles in their match against Huntington and picked up one individual win. William Bruchard took the top singles match 6-4, 6-4. Itaru Kikuchi, Austin Swing and Larry Magalasin all pushed their matches to three sets before falling.
