LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State Women's Tennis team swept doubles competition, but fell to NCAA Division III opponent Colorado College 4-3 on Thursday at the LCSC Tennis Center.
The loss dropped the Warriors' season record to 2-4.
Heidi Moyo and
Rayana Shah earned a victory in No. 1 doubles over Kala Komonduri and Gigi Jensen 6-4.
Bonolo Molefe and
Marina Perez won in No. 2 doubles 6-1.
Carisa Liebenberg and
Maria Eduarda Santos da Silva took the win in No. 3 doubles.
Silva won in No. 5 singles action when her opponent, Emmy Winter, had to retire in the second set due to an injury.
April Buckingham was victorious in No. 6 singles over Marina Seidl 7-5, 6-1.
