LEWISTON, Idaho – LC State Women's Tennis hosted its first home match of 2025 against a strong opponent in NCAA Division I Montana on Friday. The Warriors fell 7-0.
 
Beatriz Lambru and Ana Govea had the strongest doubles showing for the Warriors. The pair won two games in No. 2 doubles before falling 6-2.
 
Lambru went on to force three sets in her No. 4 singles contest. The senior won the opening set 6-4 and lost the second 6-4. She was edged in a tiebreaking third frame.
 
Heidi Moyo had to battle to a tie break in the first set of her No. 1 singles matchup before dropping the match in straight sets.

The Warriors host NCAA Division III Whitworth on Feb. 8 in the Tennis Center.
