NAIA TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LC State Volleyball continued its upward trend on Wednesday when it jumped three spots to No. 14 in the latest NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Warriors are 9-2 on the season and 6-2 in the Cascade Conference; a conference that features five teams in the top 25.
Warrior Volleyball earned its highest ranking since the 2012 preseason poll where LC State checked in at No. 8. Since the last poll, the Warriors earned victories over The Evergreen State College (Wash.) and now-No. 23 Northwest (Wash.) but fell to No. 1 Eastern Oregon and then-No. 12 College of Idaho.
LC State ranks in the top 20 in the NAIA in blocks per set (2.22) and
Juliauna Forgach Aguilar is No. 4 in the nation in kills per set so far this season (4.63). Within the CCC, the Warriors are second in digs per set (15.59), led by
Ella Stosich who ranks third individually (4.34).
Taylor Boyce is fourth in kills per set (3.41),
Karissa Lindner ranks second in blocks per set (1.35) and
Teagan Scott leads the Cascade in assists per set (8.60).
Around the Cascade Conference, Eastern Oregon remained No. 1 in the NAIA and Corban (Ore.) fell one spot to No. 4. The LC State Warriors are the third highest ranked team in the conference, followed by now-No. 15 College of Idaho. Northwest joined the rankings at No. 23, and Walla Walla (Wash.), Bushnell (Ore.) and Southern Oregon are receiving votes.

LC State Volleyball has another tough weekend ahead, this time on the road, against some of the top teams in the CCC. The Warriors open the trip to Oregon on Friday against Bushnell before an all-Warrior battle at Corban on Saturday.
