NAIA TOP 25
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – LC State Women's Basketball enters its final contest of 2025 as the No. 15-ranked team in the NAIA, announced on Wednesday. The Warrior women hold a record of 8-3 overall and 2-1 in Cascade Conference play ahead of the holiday break.
The Warriors split the first week of CCC action with a loss to (RV) Eastern Oregon, currently undefeated on the season, and overtime victory over College of Idaho. LC State routed Walla Walla (Wash.) 88-27 on Tuesday.
As a team, LC State is second in the Cascade in scoring (78.2), field goal percentage (45.0), steals per game (10.9) and blocks per game (4.1).
Darian Herring leads the CCC and is sixth in the NAIA in blocks (31) and is second in the conference in rebounds per game (9.2).
Payton Hymas is second in the assists (54) and first in steals (27) with
Sitara Byrd in second (24), and
Lindsey Wilson is second in field goal percentage (61.5).
Around the Cascade Conference, LC State is the top ranked team followed by No. 18 Corban (Ore.). Oregon Tech remained No. 21 and Eastern Oregon is receiving votes.
