RESULTS
LEWISTON, Idaho – LC State Women's Tennis opened its weekend with its first NAIA victory of the season thanks to a 7-0 sweep of The College of Idaho on Friday. The Warrior women won every match against the Yotes.
April Buckingham and
Beatriz Lambru teamed up in the No. 1 doubles spot while
Paige Noble-Lucas and
Rayana Shah were paired up at No. 3, and both duos earned 6-3 wins.
Naiara Montero and
Heidi Moyo battled to a 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.
Lambru (No. 2 singles) and Gywn Heim (No. 6 singles) each blanked their opponents 6-0, 6-0. Montero (No. 4 singles) and Noble-Lucas (No. 5 singles) each dropped just one game.
Shah battled to a 6-3, 6-3 win at third singles. Moyo had the most competitive contest in singles action with a three-set victory. She won her match by scores of 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-5).
