The 2007 Lewis-Clark State baseball team brought home the program’s 15th national title under legendary coach Cheff. The 2007 team 58-5 (0.921), which is the highest winning percentage in a season in program history. The team is also tied for the program record with 71 double plays turned.

The Warriors swept through to 2007 Avista NAIA World, beginning with an 11-7 win over Lee University. The Series was capped by a 9-2 victory over Spring Arbor to capture the national title. In games one and two alone, Warrior pitching combined for 22 strikeouts and a 3.33 ERA (15 earned runs in 45 innings). LC struck for 43 runs in those five games.
