Warrior Athletics Hall of Fame
Greene, who grew up in Lewiston, was named the 2008 NAIA Player of the Year for baseball, marking the second straight year a Warrior won the title. He is just one of three Warrior players to win the award, joining Jim O'Dell (1983) and Beau Mills (2007), both previous LC State Hall of Fame inductees.
Â
Greene, who mainly was a third baseman, played two seasons at the college and capped his career by hitting .360 with 11 RBI in the 2008 Avista NAIA World Series, leading the team to the title. He was selected to the all-tournament team as well.
Â
During the 2008 season, Greene had one of the more productive single seasons in school history. He led the team in batting average (.428), home runs (19), RBI (94) and doubles (30), which set a school record. He had a slugging percentage of .838. One of his best games was when he tied an NAIA record by hitting two grand slams against Dixie State in Utah, which earned him national Player of the Week honors.
Â
Greene was selected in the 2008 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 11th round with the 348th pick overall. He advanced all the way to Triple-A in his first season in the minors.
Â
Greene's name dots the LC record book. Along with the doubles mark, his 94 RBI ranks fourth on the program's single-season list, the .838 slugging percentage is fifth, the .428 average ranks 13th, and the 19 home runs ranks 11th.

Greene is an engineer paramedic for the Lewiston Fire Department.
