Campbell was a starting point guard at the college during 1995-99 and is perhaps the most electrifying and versatile player in program history. She came to LC State from Portland and earned NAIA All-American Honorable Mention honors as a junior and then was a First-Team All-American her senior season. She earned a tryout with the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association and later coached ninth grade boys' basketball at Jenifer Junior High in Lewiston while completing her social work degree at the college.
Â
Campbell arrival at LC also came at the beginning of a long successful tradition in the program. Her freshman year mark the first time LC women qualified for the NAIA national tournament and she made four trips to nationals, reaching as high as the National Quarterfinal her sophomore and junior seasons.
